Beef 

Tag’z offers high quality USDA choice primal cuts that we can then cut to a customer’s preference. 
We keep a fresh display of porterhouse, T-bone, NY strip, ribeye, sirloin steaks, and filet mignon. We
also carry brisket, sirloin tip roast, eye of round roast, tri-tip roast, steak tips, cube steak, fresh ground
sirloin (90/10 ground beef), and ground filet. We occasionally keep and can make to order: beef kabobs,
beef stir fry mix, and/or beef fajita mix. 

In addition to our fresh case we keep other popular items in our freezer, such as our home-made meatballs, terminator (8 oz) and mini-terminator(4 oz) burgers – all made from our 90/10 ground sirloin. We also offer a bulk discount on 10 lbs. of our ground sirloin from our freezer (packaged in 1 lb packages) or our ground sirloin with added steak trimmings making a great 80/20 burger (also kept in the freezer -packaged in 1 lb packs.)
While most of our beef options are choice grade to offer the best quality for the price, we do offer a prime grade ribeye. We do have the ability to special order other prime graded cuts for additional cost. We do not carry select or lower graded beef. We also do not kill or process whole animals. 

Chicken

All our chicken is Springer Mountain Farms antibiotic/hormone free, non-GMO, free range chicken. We carry boneless/skinless breasts, airline breasts (boneless chicken breast with the top wing bone -drummette- in place to hold the skin on. Great for grilling [skin keeps the chicken from drying out] or stuffing), and whole chickens (3lb average) in our fresh case. We also keep or will make to order 3 different kinds of our signature stuffed chicken breast, cornbread stuffed airline chicken, chicken kabobs, chicken stir fry mix, and/or chicken fajita mix.

In our freezer, we keep boneless skinless thighs, chicken wings, Tag’z homemade chicken Italian sausage, and Bell & Evans gluten free breaded chicken tenders.

Pork

We have several pork favorites in our fresh case such as bone-in and boneless pork chops, Boston butt (shoulder roast), pork tenderloin, baby back ribs, and St. Louis style ribs. We also keep in our case or will make upon request, cornbread stuffed pork chops, cornbread stuffed boneless pork roast, pork tenderloin medallions, and bacon wrapped pork tenderloin.

In our freezer, we keep 8 varieties of Tag’z homemade sausages including cajun andouille, Polish kielbasa, Italian, chicken Italian, bratwurst, hot bratwurst, pork breakfast sausage, and turkey breakfast sausage.

We can also can special order some pork items from a no antibiotic/hormone free/non-GMO pasture raised family farm in Iowa. Items may be slightly higher in price do to the quality of the product. All whole pigs ordered from Tag’z are received from this farm.

Seafood

Our seafood is delivered daily and most seafood that we do not have on hand can be ordered and received with a 24-hour notice. 

In our fresh case we keep our highly rated sushi grade Norwegian salmon, as well as our Tag’z home-made crab cakes. We usually get one or two additional fresh catch options based on what is currently in season and popular with our customers. We also keep some Tag’z created seafood favorites in our case, such as our crab cake stuffed or Mediterranean stuffed salmon or enjoy our crab cake stuffed mushrooms (these are wonderful with a slice of provolone melted over the top!)

We are happy to be able to offer several great options for seafood in our freezer due to the ability for fisherman to offer frozen at sea (FAS) options. These items are often fresher than even the fresh fish since they are frozen directly when caught and remain that way for the flight into Tennessee. Included in our selection are: king crab legs, lobster tails, U-10 sea scallops, Chilean seabass, and sushi grade tuna. We also can get, but don’t always keep in stock, halibut, grouper, corvina, and mahi mahi. You will also find Tag’s home-made salmon patties in our freezer. 

We have frozen shrimp in our case sold by the piece or by the pound. You can choose from raw 21/25 peeled and deveined tail off (perfect for sautéing and adding to your favorite dish) or cooked 21/25 peeled and deveined tail on (perfect for thawing under cool water and having a quick and easy shrimp cocktail or shrimp salad).
