Tag’z is a premier meat shop serving the Murfreesboro area since 2001. We are a specialty butcher offering personalized cuts, hard to find items, and our own specialty line of jarred items, sauces, and seasonings.
Boar's Head:
We carry a large variety of pre-sliced vacuum sealed Boar’s Head meats and cheeses. In addition, we will use these items to make fresh sandwiches to order for you to enjoy.
Tag'z pantry
We have several Local partner’s that we stock regularly: Hatcher’s Dairy milk and cream, Triple A Farms eggs, The Blue Porch cheese spreads, Sweet Stuff bakery, Billy Allen Honey, Marcy Jams fruit jam, Harmony Lane goat cheese and butter, and Tennessee Tea Fruit Tea.
In addition, we carry our own brand of sauces and seasonings as well as jarred veggies and pickled items. We also have a few items that can be essential in making a meal for those who need to get home with the fewest stops. We have pasta and pasta sauces, taco, fajita, and chili seasoning, breakfast items such as pancake mix, biscuit mix, local jam’s and Tag’z all-fruit spreads. We keep chips and salsa or queso as well as crackers, cheeses, and smoked salmon. You can also get baking potatoes, sweet potatoes, red and yellow onions, and bell peppers. These are just some of the items we carry and welcome you to come in and check out all of our offerings.
Special Orders:
If you have are looking for anything that isn’t on our list call for special ordering. We can get almost anything you’re looking for with as little as one or two days’ notice – examples include clams, mussels, whole pigs, quail, or even frog legs. Just give us a call and we will see what we can do for you!
Uncommon common items:
In our freezer we also keep on hand a few items that are common enough for us to want on hand, but uncommon to most people and therefore not easily found in your average grocery. These items include:
Alligator tail meat, crawfish, duck breasts, whole rabbit, veal shanks, mussels, and several ground options – such as ground veal, pork, turkey, chicken, grass fed beef, etc.
